Whatever happenened to Saturday Morning Cartoons

I bid a well earmed farewell to another childhood epic. So long where the years off waking up early to catch the latest show of Inspector Gadget of the The Smurfs. Cartoons had a priority before common cable took the evolution of in house entertainment eons ahead. Though grudgingly problematic at times.  It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. It had to be. Had it not, I wouldnt be doing this, right here, right now. And in 20 years looking back, rememebering, what I am doing right now. To embrace and respect it because once its over and done with, like any experience, its gone. But with comes the unimpressionable additive of  human qualities that , hopefullly, will highten thier own velition or in the least retain the ones we have now. Thrown away the evil ones of course.
The Rays play the Yanks again today, should be nice one to watch. Its been a fun ride so far this year and I  am enjoying every game.

  1. I often think back to the good ol' days too. I totally miss the old scooby doo, jetsons, smurfs, hanna barbara and of course looney toons. They just don't make cartoons like they used to. *heavily sigh*
